Koi.S.P.E. “Athena-Elpis” is a Limited Liability Social Cooperative operating in the 8th Mental Health Sector of Attica. We aim towards the social reintegration of people with severe mental illnesses by contributing to their recovery and promoting their financial autonomy.

We support the social inclusion and accessibility to competitive employment for people with severe mental illnesses on two distinct levels:

• The development and consolidation of the cooperative as a social enterprise ensures its financial sustainability and social impact, offering the opportunity to create new job positions.
• The operation of the Specialized Supported Employment Office offers support and access to opportunities for substantial professional and social development in the open labour market for mental health service users, promoting their social reintegration and improving their quality of life.

Koi.S.P.E. "Diadromes" (Social Cooperative of Limited Liability) is a legal entity under private law with limited liability of its members, which aims at the socioeconomic and professional integration of people with psychosocial problems. It was founded in 2006. The idea for its establishment derived from the employees of the “Society of Social Psychiatry - P. Sakellaropoulos” and was implemented thanks to their continuous support. Since the beginning of its operation, Koi.S.P.E. " Diadromes" serves both social and therapeutic purposes for people with psychosocial problems. In addition, it has a productive and commercial activity, mainly employing people from vulnerable social groups and actively assists, through supported employment services, in their integration into the labor market.

The main objectives of Koi.S.P.E. "DIADROMES" are the following:

• Creation of sustainable business activities to facilitate the occupational rehabilitation of individuals with psychosocial problems
• Alignment of business strategies with social goals.
• Development of partnerships in the free labor market.
• Creation of new job opportunities.
• Fight against social stigma.
• Promotion of social reintegration through labor market integration.
• Acquisition of professional skills through group and/or individual programs.
• Counseling support for employees to aim their adaptation to the job role.

The Social Cooperative Enterprise "EV ZIN" of the 9th Mental Health Sector was founded in June 2004 and started its pilot commercial activity in 2005.

Envisioning a society where all citizens regardless their mental health issues have the same opportunities and rights, the Cooperative was founded by mental health professionals, sensitized citizens, and young people with psychosocial difficulties. Moreover, the Hellenic Center for Mental Health and Research had an important supportive role in its establishment and continues to support it.

Today, the Social Cooperative Enterprise "EV ZIN": offers the following services:

• Catering Services: Our Catering Services can fully support any small or large, professional or personal event, with consistency and responsibility, offering you wonderful culinary experiences.
• Cleaning services: Our Cleaning Crews undertake the cleaning of any small, medium or large commercial space
• Traditional Social Kitchen "EV ZIN": The beloved daily habit for takeaway or delivery of home-cooked food (located in Egaleo).
• «EV ZIN» Cafeterias
  The cafeteria at the dining and recreation area of the Athens Psychiatric Hospital and the cafeteria located at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA).
• Social Club "ΕV ZIN"
  Finally, the Social Club "EV ZIN" is the heart and the essence of the Social Cooperative Enterprise . It is an multipurpose space for cultural and recreational activities, whose members are our fellow citizens facing serious psychosocial difficulties.

Koi.S.P.E. “IRIS'' is a Limited Liability Social Cooperative operating in the Mental Health Sector of Eastern Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki. Its ultimate purpose is the socio-economic integration and the professional development of people with psychosocial problems, contributing to their recovery and to their financial selfsufficiency.

Koi.S.P.E “IRIS” main objectives are:

• The development of the Cooperative’s activities in order to ensure its financial viability and social efficiency through reinforcing employment and expanding its services.
• The operation of the Specialized Supported Employment Office that will strengthen social cohesion and improve the quality of life of its members, offering them opportunities for substantial professional and social development oriented towards the open labor market.

The Social Cooperative Enterprise (Κοι.Σ.Π.Ε.) "FAROS" (Limited Liability Social Cooperative) is an innovative Mental Health Unit with the capability for entrepreneurial activities. Its goal is to create protected or supported employment positions for individuals with significant psychosocial challenges, aiming for therapeutic integration, professional reintegration, and equal social inclusion.

This is a new form of cooperative entrepreneurial activity within the framework of the social economy, which was institutionalized by Law 2716/99.

"FAROS" was established in 2006 as a result of the collective efforts of Mental Health Professionals from the Greek Centre for Mental Health & Research in Patras, the Psychiatric Clinic of the University Hospital of Patras "Panagia i Voitheia," and the Mental Health Center of the General Hospital of Patras "Agios Andreas."
