Federation’s Character

The Federation represents the Cooperatives for the assertion of their interests and the promotion of their activities, at national and community level.

Accordingly, it informs and gathers the Social Cooperatives in an umbrella of cooperation and dynamic common navigation, on issues that concern them. It supports their cooperation under common business and at the same time social goals.

It helps the Social Cooperatives and the role they undertake, supporting their actions cognitively and organizationally. It develops activities that enhance the effectiveness and cooperation of members.

In the age of information, it acts directly and dynamically for the current organization and operation of the members and acts with prestige and determination for the benefit of their claims.

Representation of the Social Cooperatives

The main extroverted role of POKoiSPE is the representation of the Social Cooperatives in public and international organizations.

ESTABLISHMENT

The first secondary body of Social Economy

It is the first officially instituted secondary body of the Social Economy, founded in accordance with the provision of paragraph 15 of article 12 of Law 2716/1999 "Development and modernization of mental health services and other provisions" (Government Gazette A' 96), on February 11, 2011 following the full voting of the articles of its Statute by 14 Social Cooperatives of Limited Liability.
